He was so good. Been thinking of re-watching The Sopranos.

When stuff like this pops up, it reminds me of that and makes me want to go watch.

Harry Dean Stanton, dies 91. Character actor starred in Alien, The Rose, John Carpenter's Escape From New York, plus many more. 

Recently, HBO show Big Love, and this year's revival of the cult classic Twin Peaks.

 

He also served in WWII and was a cook onboard a ship during the Battle for Iwo Jima.

Stanislav Petrov, a former Soviet military officer known in the West as “the man who saved the world” for his role in averting a nuclear war over a false missile warning at the height of the Cold War, has died at 77.

They're saying he died from Natural Causes, which seems like an unusual name for an 18-year-old model.

He's been one of my favorites since I was 9 years old.  I'm so bummed.

He was a funny dude. I enjoyed the specials he made. Sad he couldn't get healthier. Not surprising is right though.
