Not sure how friendly it is when you yourself are a team that keeps coming up short and plays .500 ball at best.

Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Ravens could win 6 of those, or 1 of those. Neither would be a surprise. We also haven't had a draft yet.

Winning only 1 home game would be very surprising to me.  Shocking, in fact.

You always have to take care of your business at home.

This is nothing new.

Sure, a bit of exaggeration. But do you think any one of those games aside form the Browns are gimmies? The Ravens are suspect in every game they play, and if the Browns hit home runs on their first two picks this draft, that includes them too.

Ok, I guess winning just 1 home game would be shocking. But it could happen. The Giants were 11-5 in 2016 and thought of as NFC East favorites for 2017. They go 3-13. The Ravens could do the exact same, and they haven't won 11 games since I don't even know when. 2011?

They went 5-3 at home last year with wins vs. Browns, Dolphins, Texans, Lions, Colts. Losses to Steelers, Bears, Bengals. If Tannehill, Luck, Watson played last year, I wonder what that record is. 3-5, 2-6 maybe?

Long way to go though. Today, I could see the Ravens winning 4 games, or 10 games. Probably split the difference at 7ish wins.

I think we are a 6-7 win team next year.  3 to 5 of those wins coming at home.

Its certainly possible that things fall apart and we go 4-12 or worse, but I would be surprised.  And even if we do, I still think we win more than 1 game at home, going 1-7 at home would be shocking to almost every team.

Totally agree with the overall point that the Ravens can't take anything for granted and are not looking like a particularly good team on paper (and the draft cannot change that).

NO is the only really tough game outside of the division. They should win 6-7 games if they fancy themselves a playoff team.
