Caps win.

Good win, especially after they way they completely unraveled in the final 10 or so minutes of the Jets game on Tuesday when they coughed up a two goal lead.

You can bet on the numbers, or you can bet on Buck Showalter.

Got to see another Ovie goal. Let's close it out.

That goal already put him ahead of his total from last season and the Caps still have 24 games to go!

A Mike Green return is a real possibility apparently.

Not a good day against Chicago.  How much of our troubles are Holtby being off this year vs bad defense?

All bad defense. Too many rookies out there, and a lot of growing pains. Most of this was just an off night, and a lot of time killing penalties, but Holts has gotten on the team lately for leaving him out to dry way too often lately. It was like this a few years ago, he had really bad numbers because the defense was terrible in front of him. They shored up the D a little bit and he was in the MVP race. Goalies can stand on their head and do amazing things, but they NEED help from their D, even if it's just keeping the puck out for a while to give him a chance to breathe  at the right time.
