All in on Cleveland..both in terms of who I think will win and who I want to win.

I think I'm pulling for the Dodgers. Clayton Kershaw is the caliber player you don't want to see not win a WS title. I'll also pull for the Twins because if they can go from 100 losses to the WS, then there is hope for everybody, every year.

7 of the 10 teams in the postseason are the top 7 in the game in ERA. Take note Orioles brass.

Should be some really good matchups. I'm excited to watch some playoff baseball that doesn't include the Orioles for the first time in a long time

I feel like a legit case can be made for 8 of these teams to win the World Series.

Yea, i would agree...I think the Yankees have the weakest of the 8 cases but they could still win it.

I'd be cool with that too.

Just no Boston, DC or NY..otherwise, I am good.

I'm all aboard the Astros train. Rooting for whichever WC team comes out of the NL.

Nickle and I were the only ones to correctly pick Kansas City in 2015.

We're both in on the Astros..Take note, people!

That was more so I'm rooting for them than thinking they are favorites. As unexciting as it is I think the Indians and Stros are equal favs in the AL. But sure since Im rooting for them and think they're co favorites in the league I'll also pick them to win it all.

Fair enough. I pretty much agree with every word.

I had hopes for the Twins tonight with Santana, but the Yankees on the Twins

7-4 in the 7th and the Dominant Yankee BP is doing its thing.  Going to sleep so I do not have to watch the Yankees celebrate.

Tito announces that Bauer going in Game 1, Kluber game 2..

Anyone else find this odd?

3 schools of thought:

1st is that in game 1, Cleveland won't be facing Twins or Yankees ace (Santana/Severino). Why waste Kluber against Bartolo Colon, or Sonny Gray, Sabathia?

Another one is that Bauer comes before Kluber in the rotation. If Bauer pitches game 1, its on 5 days rest. Then Kluber on Friday would be on 5 days rest for him. The other way would be 4 days rest for Kluber and 6 days for Bauer. Don't think this matters much unless he wants an extra day for Kluber who is a workhorse.

The third is that you can go with a short leash on Bauer in game 1 if necessary. Exhaust all options to win that game. Then game 2 you're pretty sure you won't be calling the bullpen until after the 7th at the earliest with Kluber going. Then the off day, then all the options you potentially exhaust in game 1 are ready to roll again in game 3. If Kluber is lights out in game 1, then you exhaust all options in game 2, then they only have one day of rest before game 3 instead of 2.

Perhaps it's over thinking. Just let Kluber win all important game 1 and then on to the next game. We know all too well what happens when you overthink yourself into not using your best pitcher at critical times.

Bauer is no slouch of late either though.
