In for CBB. Picking out of a hat would be better than me for football.

You're the man for CBB, so go for it if you like. Like you with CFB, I wouldn't be too useful for hoops.

I'll be able to do this every Monday

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I can definitely commit to every week.

Sweet. Anytime by midnight (your time) each Monday is fine. That should be enough time for me to have it posted for Tuesday morning most weeks, or Tue afternoon at the latest if I can't get to it Monday night.

Monday evening is fine, just to give everyone time who might be busy Sunday.

Chris, weigh in here, but sounds like we can just do a new thread each week for each of the voter's rankings plus discussion. Once all of them have been posted I'll do the compilation and put it in a blog post.

Anyone here is more than welcome, obviously, to post their own rankings when we get started. But for those who want to be part of the BSL Poll I'd like to make sure they can commit to doing it weekly just for consistency.

Think you've got a good plan here.

You get to do the good part....make sure all the major media outlets publish the poll and that the CFP committee uses it as their #1 guideline.

I'm in for every week-I'll probably send mine in by Sunday night since I'll do it along with my column.  I think the playoff committee would be wise to take heed of our poll.

I'm also interested in a college hoops poll too.

So where are we with this? Did you want a pre-season top 10 for each of us? If so, when do you need it by? Excited to do this, going to be a lot of fun debating.

We'll do Top 12. First games are a week from Saturday, so let's have preseason rankings by the end of day next Thursday, then Monday nights once the season begins. Stanford is the only team anyone is likely to rank right now that gets an early start, so unless they get upset in Australia you all probably won't need to change anything after next weekend.

Missed LSU (13) Stanford (14) and Florida (17) but not bad overall!

Excited for the season to start!

Ohio State's road is so much easier than Bama's. It may not matter.

USC always seems to blow it in one or 2 games.  That's the issue I have with them.
