Well Man U made another semi statement this morning. 4-0 drubbing. And I said semi only because they haven't played a top team yet. But 8 in the back of the next in the first two league matches is pretty stout!

Chelsea scores three goals to beat Tottenham 2-1. Yup one of Chelsea's wonderful headers was actually into their own net.

And by the way this was Tottenham's first home EPL loss since May of 2016! Remember what I said in my preseason review. Playing their "home" games at Wembley was probably not a plus.

Alonso's first goal was nasty, up and over the wall and buried in the corner.   Nothing the keeper could do on that one.

You can bet on the numbers, or you can bet on Buck Showalter.

Well I WILL be pulling for Rooney and company but don't get your hopes up too high.

Yeah, it's not likely - but I'm excited for Everton this year. I like how they've put together the roster, there's definitely some upside there.

In the 44th minute Watson gets his second yellow. So Man C plays the rest of the way a man down. THAT is going to make it a wee bi tougher on them!

Second half has been all Man C. Arsenal has played shameful. Up a man and defending the entire time ....and not doing a good job of it. Sterling with a strike off a volley in the 83rd minute tied it 1-1.

Then in the 88th minute Schneiderlin takes a second yellow so the sides are now playing 10v10.

Arsenal had another great chance in the 3rd minute of extra time but didn't connect so it ends 1-1.
