Os win 2-0.

Donnie Hart didn't let a ball out of the IF in his 3 up, 3 down inning.

DJ Stewart is a lot more upright according to Roch.

Giovetella had 3 hits.

Game is on MASN today.

Ubaldo was talking about the mechanical adjustments he made with his hands last year.  Said he couldn't get a consistent release point in the first half of the season.

They talked about how Buck is saying he has never seen Ubaldo as sharp as he has been in spring so far.

They could put up a "HERE" flag for that one...  :-)

He's freaking Nuke LaLoosh.

His K/9, HR/9, and his batting average against are fantastic.  11+ K/9 for his career in the minors, he's given up only 1 HR in 130 innings, and guys only hit around 200 against him.  But he's given up 99 walks and 9 HBP in those 130 innings.  He could cut that rate in half and it still would be slightly on the high side.

If he ever figures out where the ball is going, he could be really nasty.

Andino made a very nice catch way out in LF from SS...

I don't care if he's not good, I'll always like him just because of 2011 game 162...

Yep.

He's an intriguing player.

If some team values him relatively high, do you sell high on the big arm or do you wait and see if he can become an elite reliever.

This could be a decision they need to make in July if they need to add something.

We saw the O's say they want to hold onto Givens in a similar scenario.

Oliver Drake is a much better story than he is a pitcher.

It's tough to compare, since Givens is such a unique case, but Givens had a 12.4 K/9, 2.5 BB/9, 182 BAA, and had given up just 1 HR in 57 IP at AA in 2015 when they said he was untouchable.  He was much older, that was his Age 25 season where Scott was only 21 last year, but he was still so new to pitching that maybe that doesn't matter as much as it typically would.

I'd deal Scott if he's valued relatively highly, but if he does manage to drop his walk-rate significantly at Norfolk this year, then his value goes way up in my mind and so would the price.

It's the 4th game.  But yeah, annoying.  ST results besides health are meaningless, IMO, especially for proven vets who make up the bulk of our offense.  Certainly wouldn't feel any better about the offense in the regular season if we had drawn 10 walks today.
