They're not American

Christ, Xenophobia much? Not like it is the Ryder Cup. I get liking the American golfers more, I do as well, but to make such a blanket statement is ridiculous.

It's not completely black and white. I'd root for some Euros over some Americans but generally speaking Go Merica

I can't ever root for Sergio. He's an ass.

Not saying he doesn't deserve a major because he has been great over his career but I would never root for him.

So without that +4 from Spieth he would be in the tie for the lead. Crazy.

He's got a win, and two 2nd's in the last three Masters. Wouldn't be shocked if he closes the gap a bit today and gets in position to make a run tomorrow.

I haven't been able to watch, but It looks like given the high winds, combined with how tough the course is, it's not a shock to see many of the worlds top golfers near the top of the leaderboard. 7 of the top 18 in the world make up the top 12 spots. 11 of the top 12 are ranked in the top 53. Then there is Fred Couples.

Anyone but Rose. Particularly Spieth or Fowler.

Garcia birdied 1 and 3 to go to -8 and open up a two-shot lead on Rose, the lead increasing to three with Rose dropping a shot at 5. Others who started under par haven't done much moving. Paul Casey started at even par and just completed a 32 on the front nine to put him four behind Garcia and in a tie for third.

Garcia gets himself out of a tough spot on 6 with more good speed judgment, while Rose picks up that shot he dropped on the previous hole. The lead is back to two.

Rooting for Sergio

While Garcia has remained steady, Rose has found a groove after that bogey on 5, matching Garcia at -8 on the back of three consecutive birdies. They're getting ready to close out the front nine.

Rose is winning it. He looked the best of all the guys on the front page yesterday. What a shitty day

What a terrible approach shot by Garcia. How about that graphic? Rose averages almost a full stroke better on the back nine at Augusta than does Garcia.

Another Sunday freefall for Spieth in progress. At least it wasn't falling from the lead this time, or as late.
