Well that dream of Dotson, Johnson, and Brown was amazing a week ago. Then I woke up and remembered we are Maryland

So, seems like the expectation is that Dotson will commit to Kansas, and with that news Ayala will commit to MD.

The 247 Crystal Ball is 100% on Moses Brown to MD.

Ayala, Wiggins, Smith, Brown would be quite the class...  if you lock in Ayala, and Brown... maybe you can yet convince Johnson.

Dotson announces he's headed to KU. Guess the FBI/Adidas probe didn't scare him. Sounds like Ayala will be the consolation prize tomorrow.

Agree with Chris that as long as they can get Brown this is still a monster class. And if they can somehow beat out Kentucky for Johnson as well, then it just might be the best recruiting class ever for MD.

The fact that Brown didn't commit to MD after Louisville and is now heading out to UCLA for a visit isn't a good sign. As I said, it was a nice dream for awhile. Johnson is headed to Kentucky

I think all the scandal has thrown a lot of kids into a state of confusion.

Ayala seems like a good get, and no one here knows who will be the better player.  Dotson is the purer PG supposedly and Ayala a combo.

I have suspected MD, would wind up with Ayala for awhile.  Time will tell, whether they won this weekend or not.

As expected Maryland gets Ayala.

Highly recruited guard who may be more than a one and done player.

Definitely not a one and done. Unless he just blows up.

Guards take time to develop.

This might not be the glamorous but a solid recruit.

Brown will decide whether this is a real good class, which it already is, or a great class.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer  Five-star center Moses Brown tells ESPN he is down to Maryland, UCLA, Florida State and will decide between Kentucky and Duke for his final visit. Doesn't plan to sign during the early period.

Just can't envision Turgeon 'coaching-up' any of these recruits no matter how good they are/are ranked.

Wiggins signed on the dotted line today. Smith and Ayala are expected to by the end of the early signing period next Wed.

Kenny Nwuba, a 3-star C that was a MD target, chose UCLA. No way of knowing for sure, but perhaps that's a hint of good news on Brown.

Agreed. I'm in believe it when I see it mode with Turge in terms of having a nationally prominent team. The next team of his that can legitimately hang with the big boys will be his first.

All three Terps commits (Ayala, Smith and Wiggins) are now signed.

Keldon Johnson is supposed to announce, and presumably sign, next week before the early period ends.

Johnson, would elevate a good class, to a a very good class.   Brown would make it a great class.

Good news about the three signing the LOI.  Until that is done, the commitments really do not mean much.

Currently the '18-'19 roster looks like:

Guards: Morsell, Huerter, Cowan, Wiley , Ayala
Wings: Jackson, Wiggins,
Bigs: Fernando, Smith, Bender, Tomaic

With Jackson, figure a starting line up of:

Cowan, Huerter, Jackson, Smith, Fernando....   Morsell, Bender, Wiley, Wiggins, Ayala, Tomaic off the bench.

That's pretty strong.  Would be awesome if Jackson came back.

Without Jackson?

Maybe Morsell into the starting lineup, and Huerter at the 3?

Still got Moses Brown out there... hopeful, but not overly optimistic there at this point. Obviously would be huge.

Jarius Hamilton as well...  4star, SF, 6'8, National Top 70.....
